Jim Williams

Emeritus Professor Jim Williams is affiliated with the Department of PHY at The Australian National University. His research interests include semiconductor materials and their modification through ion implantation and laser processing. He has contributed to the study of defect formation, amorphization, and crystallization in semiconductors, as well as the synthesis of novel materials such as boron nitride nanotubes and hyperdoped silicon. His work has been published in several journals, including the Journal of Applied Physics and Semiconductor Science and Technology. Professor Williams is recognized for his extensive contributions to the field of materials science and semiconductor technology.
