Dr Dige Wang is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of PHY at The Australian National University. Dr Wang is affiliated with the Physics Education Centre and works within the fields of Materials Physics, Quantum Science & Technology, and the Laser physics, optics and photonics group. His research includes contributions to the design of absorbers for graphene-based mid-infrared wide band waveguide photodetectors and the parametric design study of monolayer graphene-based TeO2 waveguide saturable absorbers. Dr Wang's work is published in journals such as Optics Express and presented at conferences including the Australian Conference on Optical Fibre Technology (ACOFT) and Australian Conference on Optics, Lasers, and Spectroscopy (ACOLS).
