Cheng Fan is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include information theory, security, and machine learning. He has published numerous papers in top-tier journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Information Theory and the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory. His work focuses on topics such as wiretap networks, secrecy in communication channels, and information inequalities. Cheng Fan holds a PhD in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
