Chen Zhi-Min is a distinguished researcher and professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), specializing in organic chemistry with a focus on catalytic methodologies, asymmetric synthesis, and the development of novel reagents and reactions. His work has significantly advanced the fields of electrophilic functionalization, semipinacol rearrangements, and the synthesis of complex organic molecules, particularly those with quaternary stereocenters and axial chirality.
