Regular biography
Zhidong JIANG is an Associate Professor in the Department of CHEM at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include catalyst and reaction process development, reactor analysis and simulation, with a focus on environmental and industrial catalysis. He has extensive experience in gas-phase and liquid-phase catalytic hydrogenation, as well as the development of honeycomb catalysts. JIANG has led several national and industrial research projects, including those related to catalytic conversion of sugar solutions, syngas to ethylene glycol, and VOCs treatment. He has also contributed to the design and simulation of reactors and the development of novel catalysts. JIANG teaches courses such as 'Applied Catalysis' and 'Reaction Engineering' at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
