Prof Andrey Sukhorukov is a Professor in the Physics Education Centre at The Australian National University. His research group focuses on nonlinear and quantum photonics. He holds a PhD and has been recognized for his contributions to research, including being elected a Fellow of the Optical Society of America in 2016. He has received several fellowships, including the Humboldt Fellowship for Experienced Researchers in 2015, the Future Fellowship from the Australian Research Council in 2010, and the Queen Elizabeth II Fellowship from the Australian Research Council in 2007.

Andrey A. Sukhorukov is a professor specializing in nonlinear photonics, quantum optics, photonic crystals, and solitons.
