Yong ZHANG

Yong ZHANG is a Professor in the Department of CHEM at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include polymer processing and modification, rubber chemistry and technology, and polymer blends and composites. He has led national natural science foundation projects and various international and domestic enterprise collaborations. He teaches undergraduate courses such as Polymer Chemistry and has held academic positions including Vice Chairman of the Rubber Specialty Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. He has received awards such as the Shanghai City Talent Award in 1997, the National Teaching Achievement Award Second Prize in 2005, and the Shanghai Invention Second Prize in 2010.
