Wenjun Lu is a Professor in the Department of CHEM at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include precision chemistry, particularly the HELLO process, which emphasizes high yield, efficient pathway, low loading, low complexity, and only target product. His work focuses on functionalization of C-H bonds through atom-economy reactions and green processes, including Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling, Fe-catalyzed alkenylation, and aerobic oxyhalogenation. He has authored invited books and articles in prestigious journals, including reviews on C-H bond functionalization and oxidation processes. Lu has also contributed to patents and software copyright registrations.
