Regular biography
Wei GONG is an Associate Professor in the Department of CHEM at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include reticular chemistry, design and synthesis of porous crystalline materials, and applications of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) in gas storage, separation, and catalysis. He has published extensively in leading journals such as Angewandte Chemie, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and Science China: Chemistry. Prior to joining Shanghai Jiao Tong University, he completed postdoctoral research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and visiting postdoctoral positions at the University of Texas at San Antonio and Northwestern University. He is currently an Independent PI at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
