Regular biography
Tao LI is a Professor in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on the design, synthesis, and application of advanced heteroaryl azo-photoswitches. He has led multiple national and provincial research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and the Shanghai Education Development Foundation's 'Dawn Project'. He has also authored several books and published extensively in high-impact journals such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society and Angewandte Chemie. His work has been recognized through various awards and honors, including the Shanghai 'Dawn Scholar' title and the National Natural Science Foundation's Outstanding Young Scientist Grant.
