Regular biography
Rongrong QI is an Associate Professor in the Department of CHEM at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research interests include the high-performance and functionalization of polyolefins and engineering plastics, the application of polymer-inorganic nanocomposites in optoelectronic fields, the development and application of high-performance foam plastics, and the application of environmentally renewable and biodegradable materials. She has collaborated with several international companies and research institutes. QI teaches courses such as Experimental Chemistry and Polymer Processing Principles for undergraduates and Polymer Materials Engineering Principles for graduate students. She has received awards including the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Outstanding Teacher Award in 2011 and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Candlelight Award in 2012.
