Regular biography
Qizhi REN is an Associate Professor in the Department of CHEM at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research interests include the application of metal porphyrin-multipurpose material composite systems in biomimetic enzymes, the preparation of metal nanomaterials and their biological activities, and metal complexes as oxygen reduction electrocatalysts for fuel cells. She has led several research projects, including studies on silver ion antibacterial glass and nanosilver antibacterial materials. She also holds multiple patents related to catalysts and porphyrin compounds. REN teaches courses such as General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry at the undergraduate level and Advanced Inorganic Chemistry at the graduate level. She is a member of the Porphyrin-Phthalocyanine Specialty Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and serves as a reviewer for several academic journals.
