Regular biography
Pingkai JIANG is a Professor in the Department of CHEM at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include high-performance nanocomposite materials and controllable polymer synthesis and characterization. He has led over 30 research projects, including 973 sub-projects, national natural science foundation projects, and international collaborations. His work has been applied in energy transmission, power equipment, nuclear power, wind power, and national defense. He teaches courses such as 'Dielectric Engineering and Fiber Technology' and 'Polymer Dielectrics' at the undergraduate level and delivers advanced materials seminars for doctoral students. He is also an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation and a member of several professional committees.
