Regular biography
Jie-Sheng Chen is a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, affiliated with the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Journal of Materials Chemistry A. Dr. Chen has made significant contributions to the fields of inorganic materials, advanced inorganic chemistry, and electrochemical energy storage. His research includes the development of novel materials for lithium-ion batteries, catalytic processes, and coordination chemistry. He has authored numerous high-impact publications in prestigious journals such as Angewandte Chemie, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and Advanced Materials. Dr. Chen has also received several honors, including the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology (Natural Science) in 2015 and the First Prize of Education Ministry Science and Technology (Natural Science) in 2011. He is also recognized as a Changjiang Distinguished Professor.
