Wu Xuebing is a Professor in the Department of PHY at Peking University, affiliated with the School of Physics and the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics. His research focuses on astrophysics, including black hole astrophysics, quasars, active galactic nuclei, high-energy astrophysics, and observational cosmology. He serves as the head of the Astronomy Department and deputy director of the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics. Wu holds the title of vice president of the Chinese Astronomical Society and is a member of the editorial board of the journal Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
