Regular biography
Lei Yian is an associate professor in the Department of Physics at Peking University. His research is associated with the Institute of Theoretical Physics. He holds a doctoral degree in Theoretical Physics from Peking University and a bachelor's degree in Metal Materials from Hefei University of Technology. He has served as a visiting scholar at the Magnetic Target Fusion Group, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine. Additionally, he has held a visiting associate professor position at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Lei Yian is also the director of the Peking University High-Performance Computing Platform.
