Peter Riggs

Dr Peter Riggs is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of PHY at The Australian National University. His research interests include the nature of time and space, foundations of physics, relativity, conditions of the Early Universe, fundamentals of energy and energy processes, and methodology and philosophy of science. He is known for his work on quantum causality, natural kinds, and scientific methodology. Dr Riggs has authored several books and numerous peer-reviewed publications, including articles on time dilation, the speed of light in general relativity, and the philosophical implications of time. He is also an active science communicator, delivering public lectures on topics ranging from black holes to the nature of reality.
