Charles Brown
Regular biography
Charles D. Brown II is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Yale University, affiliated with the Department of Physics. His research focuses on Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, specifically Ultracold atomic physics in optical lattices and Quantum gases in optical lattices. His work involves experimental studies of quantum simulation using ultracold atoms trapped in optical lattice potentials. Brown joined Yale in 2023 after completing his Ph.D. at Yale and undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota. His research aims to explore exotic order phases of ultracold bosons and fermions in optical lattices, as well as the role of topology in quantum behavior.
