Hee Oh

Hee Oh is the Abraham Robinson Professor of Mathematics at Yale University, affiliated with the Department of Mathematics. Hee Oh is a Professor of Mathematics at Yale University, specializing in mathematics with a focus on geometric and arithmetic aspects of dynamical systems. Her research explores equidistribution, counting problems, and mixing properties of discrete subgroups acting on symmetric spaces. She investigates the interplay between geometry, number theory, and dynamics, particularly through the study of horospherical actions, Anosov groups, and Kleinian manifolds. Her work includes contributions to the understanding of matrix coefficients, Kazhdan constants, and the distribution of rational points on homogeneous varieties. Oh's research also addresses uniform exponential mixing and resonance-free regions for convex cocompact subgroups of SL₂(ℤ).
