Regular biography
Jen Chung is a researcher at the University of Sydney, where she is affiliated with the School of Electrical and Data Engineering. She is currently a Senior Lecturer and holds a position as a Principal Investigator in the Centre for Autonomous Systems. Her research focuses on autonomous systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on decision-making in multi-robot systems, reinforcement learning, and perception for robotics. She has made significant contributions to the fields of path planning, adaptive sampling, and generative models for robotics. Chung has published extensively in top-tier conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Robotics, The International Journal of Robotics Research, and the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS). She has also been involved in several collaborative projects with industry and academic partners, and her work has been recognized through various awards and grants. Chung is an active member of the robotics and AI communities, and she has contributed to the development of open-source tools and frameworks for robotics research.
