Harold L. Cole

Harold L. Cole is the James Joo-Jin Kim Professor of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Economics. He serves as Editor of the International Economic Review and also acts as a consultant for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. His research spans a broad range of macroeconomic topics, including the International Great Depression, efficient contracting models, incomplete asset markets, monetary economics, and international finance. He has authored several books and published extensively on these subjects. Cole was elected a Fellow of the Econometric Society in 2015.
