Bilge Yilmaz

Bilge Yilmaz is a Professor in the Finance Department at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Her research interests include alternative investments, corporate finance, game theory, and political economy. She is the Academic Director of the Harris Family Alternative Investments Program. Yilmaz's work has been published in leading finance journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Econometrica. She teaches courses such as Advanced Corporate Finance, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity. Her research explores topics like regulatory models, corporate governance, and takeover dynamics. Yilmaz holds a PhD from Princeton University and a B.S. from Bogaziçi University.
