Rachel Werner

Rachel Werner is a Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Business (BUS) and holds the title of Professor of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, and Professor of Health Care Management. She also serves as Executive Director of the Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics. Her research focuses on health care management and policy, with a particular emphasis on health services policy and research methods. She teaches courses on health services policy research methods and thesis development for health policy research students. Her work includes examining the impact of pay-for-performance initiatives on hospital quality and cost outcomes.
