Jessica Wachter

Jessica Wachter is a Professor in Quantitative Finance and Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on asset pricing and behavioral finance. She has held academic positions at Wharton since 2003 and previously at the Stern School of Business, New York University. Wachter has also served as Chief Economist and Director of the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Finance and the Review of Financial Studies. She is currently Editor of the Review of Financial Studies and has served on the boards of the American Finance Association and the Western Finance Association.
