Jeffrey H. Silber is a Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, affiliated with the Wharton School's Health Care Management department. His research focuses on clinical economics, health care disparities, and the development of new health care outcome measures. He is also associated with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Silber has contributed to the creation of several quality measures, including the Failure-to-Rescue measure, and has developed statistical methodologies for outcomes research. He teaches courses on health care quality and outcomes research at both the Wharton School and the Perelman School of Medicine.
