Ingrid Nembhard

Ingrid Nembhard is a Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Department of Business (BUS). She is a Professor of Health Care Management and Professor of Management with a focus on Organizational Behavior. Her research interests include organizational behavior, organizational learning, teamwork and coordination, implementation, and quality improvement. She examines how health care organizations, their leaders, and staff contribute to implementing new practices, engaging in continuous learning, and improving quality of care. Her work employs qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate health care delivery from provider and patient perspectives. She has received the 2023 Mid-Career Achievement Award from the Academy of Management’s Health Care Management Division.
