Dr Ksenia Maximova is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of PHY at The Australian National University. Her research focuses on laser physics, optics, and photonics, with an emphasis on applications in materials science and biomedical engineering. She is affiliated with the Quantum Science & Technology department and contributes to the Laser physics, optics and photonics group. Dr Maximova's work includes studies on femtosecond laser interactions with materials, such as marble, enamel, and silk fibroin, as well as the synthesis of nanoparticle catalysts. Her research has been published in several high-impact journals and conference proceedings.
