Regular biography
Dr Ziyuan Li is a Distinguished Professor at the Research School of Physics, The Australian National University. She holds a B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and a Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Currently, she is an ARC Discovery Early Career Research Award (DECRA) Fellow. Her research interests include III-V semiconductor opto-electronic devices such as photodetectors, solar cells, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and lasers. She has organized several workshops and served on various committees and editorial boards.
