Ping Koy Lam

Professor Ping Koy Lam is a Professor in the Department of PHY at The Australian National University. His research interests include Quantum Optics, Quantum Information, Atom-Light Interaction, Quantum Metrology, and Nonlinear Optics. He has contributed to the development of quantum communication technologies and has led research in quantum key distribution, quantum memory, and optical quantum information processing. Professor Lam has published over 200 scientific articles, including work in prestigious journals such as Physical Review Letters, Science, and the Nature suite. He is also the quantum communication work package leader at the ANU node within the Centre.
