Patrice Belleville

Patrice Belleville is an Associate Head of Operations and Associate Professor of Teaching in the Department of Computer Science at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on computer science education, with an emphasis on curriculum development and improving the communication of knowledge to students. He is also interested in computational geometry, particularly visibility and covering problems, as well as graph-theoretic problems and efficient algorithms. Belleville has contributed to various publications in computational geometry and has received multiple teaching awards at UBC, including the CS Department Teaching Award and the UBC Dean of Science Excellence in Service Award.
