Sheila McIlraith

Sheila McIlraith is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include knowledge representation and reasoning, AI planning and reinforcement learning, program synthesis, human-compatible AI, cognitive robotics, and commonsense reasoning. She is a Canada CIFAR AI Chair at the Vector Institute and an Associate Director and Research Lead at the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. McIlraith has authored over 150 scholarly publications and has held leadership roles in numerous academic conferences. She is also an AI2050 Senior Fellow and a member of Schmidt Sciences.
