Vassos Hadzilacos

Vassos Hadzilacos is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. His research interests include theoretical computer science, distributed computing, particularly fault tolerance and synchronisation, as well as database concurrency control. He has contributed to the field through editorial roles, including serving as editor-in-chief of the Distributed Computing journal from 2000 to 2008. He is also involved in teaching courses such as CSCC73 — Algorithm design and analysis and CSCC63 — Computability and computational complexity.
