Robert P. Bartlett

Robert P. Bartlett is a Professor at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business (BUS) and holds the title of W. A. Franke Professor of Law and Business at Stanford Law School. He is also a co-director of the Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford Law School. His research focuses on law and finance, particularly in venture capital finance, market structure, corporate governance, mandatory disclosure, and capital market regulation. Prior to joining Stanford in 2023, Bartlett taught at the law schools of UC Berkeley and the University of Georgia and worked as a corporate associate for Gunderson Dettmer, specializing in startup and venture capital finance transactions.
