Christopher S. Armstrong

Christopher S. Armstrong is a Professor at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, specializing in Corporate Governance, Incentives and Compensation, and Contracting. He is affiliated with the Corporate Governance Research Initiative and holds a PhD in Accounting from Stanford University. Prior to joining Stanford, he served as the EY Professor of Accounting at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research explores corporate governance, executive compensation, and financial reporting, with a focus on how capital market participants use accounting information. He is an editor of The Accounting Review and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Accounting and Economics.
