Douglas Abbey

Douglas Abbey is a Lecturer in Finance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he has taught the real estate class since 2005. He is a co-founder of IHP Capital Partners and previously co-founded AMB Property Corporation and Swift Real Estate Partners. Mr. Abbey is also a supporter of the Abbey Master in Real Estate Development + Design at UC Berkeley. His teaching focuses on real estate investment, with an emphasis on land use decisions influenced by market forces, demographics, and regulation. He works with GSB students to explore career opportunities in real estate and related research and educational opportunities.
