The Kreps Symposium, hosted by the Stanford Graduate School of Business, is a series of academic events created to honor the career of Professor David M. Kreps. The symposium focuses on teaching ethics and responsible leadership in business, addressing key questions about individual decision-making, organizational design, and societal institutions. It explores how business leaders can engage productively with ethical issues and how organizations can be designed to support ethical behavior. The symposium draws on insights from philosophy, psychology, and political economy, featuring talks by leading thinkers such as Rebecca Henderson, Adam Galinsky, and Kwame Anthony Appiah. It is part of the GSB Centennial initiatives and aims to equip future business leaders with the tools to address complex ethical challenges.
