Yiguang Ju

Yiguang Ju is the Robert Porter Patterson Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. His research focuses on Propulsion and Energy Sciences, including combustion, propulsion, green fuels, plasma, decarbonization, and electrified manufacturing. He has published 320 refereed journal articles and is a fellow of AIAA and ASME. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Combustion Institute and is an Associate Editor of AIAA Journal and Combustion Science and Technology. He has received numerous awards, including the Distinguished Paper Awards from the International Symposium on Combustion and the Alfred C. Egerton Gold Medal from the Combustion Institute. He is also a co-founder of several companies.

Additionally, he examines the depolymerization of plastics through electrified heating and the effects of hydrogen addition on flammability and emissions. His research bridges experimental and computational approaches to advance sustainable energy technologies.
