Professor Edgar Choueiri is a tenured Full Professor in the Applied Physics Group at the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, Princeton University. His research focuses on Applied Physics, Propulsion and Energy Sciences. He is the Director of Princeton's Electric Propulsion and Plasma Dynamics Laboratory (EPPDyL) and the 3D Audio and Applied Acoustics (3D3A) Lab. He has led over 40 research projects funded by NASA, AFOSR, the National Science Foundation, Tesla, and other institutions. His work includes two space experiments onboard the Space Shuttle and the Russian spacecraft APEX. Professor Choueiri has authored over 220 publications and has been an invited speaker at more than 100 events. He has also developed new undergraduate and graduate courses, advised over a hundred students, and graduated 19 Ph.D. students.
