Dr Lara Gillan is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of PHY at The Australian National University. She is affiliated with the Quantum Science & Technology department and is part of the Solid State Spectroscopy group. Her research focuses on developing efficient optical interconnects for quantum computers, specifically converting microwave quantum information to optical frequencies. Dr Gillan is a Postdoctoral Fellow and works on projects related to quantum computing technologies and their integration with optical quantum networks.
