Associate Professor John Debs is a member of the Physics Department at The Australian National University. His research interests include Ultra Cold Atomic Physics and Innovative Physics education. He is known for convening the nationally recognised course, Foundations of Physics, where students are taught to 'think like a physicist'. Additionally, he is the founder and Director of the ANU MakerSpace, a campus community that supports learning through hands-on activities.
