Cormac Corr

A/Prof Cormac Corr is a Fellow at The Australian National University, affiliated with the Physics department. His research focuses on technological plasmas, plasma processing, plasma diagnostics, and plasma instabilities. He has conducted extensive work on electronegative plasmas, plasma-surface interactions, and plasma modeling. Corr has also explored magnetised plasmas, fusion plasmas, and high-beta plasmas, including Alfven waves and drift waves. He teaches Electromagnetism and plasma physics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Corr obtained his honours degree in Applied Physics and PhD in plasma physics from Queens University Belfast and has worked at the Laboratoire de Physique et Technologie des Plasmas in Paris.
