Richard Walker

Richard Walker is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, awarded in 2002. His research interests include macroeconomics, political economy, and the role of specialization, information, and coordination in economic growth. He is also interested in economic models of conflict. Walker teaches courses in monetary economics, international finance, and econometrics, and leads freshman seminars on topics such as financial crises and the economics of Hollywood.
