Kiminori Matsuyama

Kiminori Matsuyama is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University. His research interests include international trade, economic growth and development, macroeconomic instability, structural transformation, and inequality across countries, regions, and households. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and was the 1996 winner of the Nakahara Prize. He currently serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Economic Theory and the Journal of the Japanese and International Economies. His PhD was obtained from Harvard University in 1987.
