Regular biography
David Wallace is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interests include environmentally conscious design, computer-aided industrial design, and new-media design education. He is affiliated with the Morningside Academy for Design and teaches courses such as 2.009: Product Engineering Processes and 2.00b: Toy Product Design. His work focuses on integrating design principles with engineering practices to develop innovative and sustainable solutions. Wallace holds a Ph.D. from MIT and has a background in mechanical engineering education and research.
