J Kim Vandiver

J Kim Vandiver is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on vibration, flow-induced vibration, field experiments, high speed photography, and schlieren photography. She is also the Director of the Edgerton Center and the Project Manus. Her work explores the dynamics of marine structures and the role of damping in vibration control. She has contributed to various publications and has been involved in numerous academic and professional activities throughout her career.
