David Gifford

David Gifford is a Professor of CS and Engineering (Post-Tenure) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research focuses on AI for Healthcare and Life Sciences, as well as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Gifford's work explores the application of AI technologies in healthcare and life sciences, with an emphasis on advancing machine learning methods. His research has contributed to understanding challenges in AI systems, such as the recognition of nonsensical inputs in deep-learning models.
