Santiago Camara

Santiago Camara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at McGill University. His research focuses on Macroeconomics, International Trade, Finance, and Monetary Policy. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he earned his BA in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2013 and his MA from Universidad de San Andrés in 2015. Prior to his graduate studies, he worked as a researcher and advisor at the Ministry of Production of Argentina from 2016 to 2017. He completed his MA and PhD in Economics at Northwestern University in June 2023. His research interests include International Macroeconomics, International Trade, Corporate Finance, Economic History, and Text-Analysis applied to Economics.
