Subhasis Ghoshal

Subhasis Ghoshal is a Professor and Director of the Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering and Design at McGill University, where he is affiliated with the Department of Civil Engineering. His research focuses on environmental engineering, particularly the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, and the environmental fate, transport, and reactivity of engineered nanomaterials and nanopesticides. He also investigates bioremediation practices for sub-arctic regions, integrating laboratory studies with mathematical modeling of physiochemical and biological processes. His work is associated with the Brace Water Centre and the TISED research initiatives.
