Regular biography
Nisansala Yatapanage is a Senior Lecturer FHEA, MBCS, MACM at The Australian National University, School of Computing. His research interests include the use of formal methods for concurrency, safety-critical systems, and security. He joined ANU in 2020 and has been a Senior Lecturer since January 2025. Prior to ANU, he was a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer at De Montfort University, Leicester, U.K., from 2017 to 2019. He received his PhD in 2012 from Griffith University, supervised by Dr. Kirsten Winter from UQ.
