Graham Williams

Graham Williams is a Professor Data Science Lead Chief Scientist, Software Innovation Institute at The Australian National University's School of Computing. His research focuses on data science and machine learning, particularly in recovering privacy in a digital world. He has developed personal online data stores (PODs) using open source SOLID servers for secure data storage. Williams has contributed to open source software for data science and has authored books widely used in teaching. He has held senior roles in industry, government, and academia, including Director of Data Science at Microsoft and executive positions at the Australian Taxation Office and CSIRO. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from ANU and a BSc Hons (Maths) from the University of Adelaide.
